O Ye of little Faith

How much does it cost to find the answers to the universe? Scientist in Europe have spent over US$ 6.4 billion developing the Large Hadron Collider near Geneva, Switzerland and over US$9 Billion on Fermilab's Tevatron particle collider plus running and maintenance costs trying discover the so called ‘God particle’ that would explain the origin of the universe!

Yet the answer could be found in the Bible costing less than US$5 from a second hand bookstall. The Bible says quite simply that God created the universe “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1). It says, “Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.” (Psalm 102:25). Immediately prior to the creation of man God prepared the surface of the earth for that event, “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” (verse 2). Notice that the Spirit of God was involved. The Spirit is the very essence, mind, character and power of God Himself. If there is a ‘God particle’ then surely it is the Spirit of God. God has the power to say, “Let there be light: and there was light.” (verse 3). The prophet Isaiah talked about the LORD God, who,“… hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him?” (Isaiah 40:12-12).

Billions of dollars could have been saved simply by believing what the Bible says,
“O ye of little faith”.
